Vegas...... I may not make it back to NC

On a work and vacation trip in Las Vegas this week, company rate makes the Bellagio unreal. I haven't been to LV in about 7 years and it may be another 7 years before I go back :D. I got 3 hours of sleep Sunday night, 2 hours of sleep last night, and my wife is due to land in a few hours to really get the party started.

I'm pretty sure someone drugged me last night as I went to bed at 4:00am and woke up at 6:00am with my heart racing. It's now 8:00am out here and my heart is still beating faster than normal. o_O lol, I think is just part of the experience: bet at tables, lose all of your money, get solicited by and turn down a dozen escorts, then get ruffied. Par for the course I guess.

3 more days of this may put me in the grave.....


Anyone else been out here recently?
 
It's been a couple of years since I have been, but had a blast and I am ready to go back. We stayed at the Trump Towers. I think at the time they had the fastest elevators in the world. You could get to the 70th floor in like 5 seconds and not feel a thing.
 
been 10+/- years since I was out there but yeah.... I felt the same way. It's the city! It does something to ya!
 
I'm headed out there 16th-22ndish of November. Work is paying for almost everything. My girl friend can't go because of retarded reasons. So I'm probably going to play A lot of poker. Then the end of the week I'm hanging out with my uncle and family hopefully get some time on the desert on something with an engine.

I wanna go bad. Last time I went, I was underage and with my parents, so I couldn't have any fun. I said for my 21st birthday, I was gonna go out there, but 4 years later, I still haven't gone.

I've crashed several bachelorette parties and lets just say.... I've been in full on REDLYNER Racing character going by the name Jean Claude.

So speaking of pictures, the Bellagio has this gigantic lobby setup for fall with all kinds of crazy talking trees, water wheels etc. Monster tourist trap and EVERYONE is taking pictures. Last night while waiting on some of my friends I decided to entertain myself by photobombing as many people as I could :bounce: . I bet I got in over 100 pictures lol.
 
We were there in 2010, and ran into one group of about 6 girls returning to their hotel after bachelorette partying. The bride was extremely loose with the purse on her shoulder, in her current drunken state. My wife said to her, Honey, you need to be a little more careful with your pocket book, you stuff is almost falling out. She denounced her maid of honor on the spot, and told my wife she was the new one! We chatted on the way to their hotel, and when they got there, we all took pics, and we kept going. I just know bride-to-be awoke with a terrible headache, looking at those pics, going Who in the hell is that!? :lol:
 
So, while I'm still sticker shocked, I thought I would share some of the prices I have been exposed too so far:

$46: My Breakfast of two eggs, bacon, toast, and juice
$14: Jack and cokes
$14: Shots:
$4: 20oz Sprite
$1000: Take a guess. Lol. I asked if people actually pay that... The lovely person replied "you have no idea, that is actually a deal honey". This was like a new Lamborghini Murcialago....
$400: Same as $1000 would get, but this lovely individual had some highway miles. Like a Porsche 911 with 175k on the odometer. Haha.
$450: Bottle service to reserve a table at either the dance club or other fine establishments.


The crazy part is watching people absolutely blitzed buy this crap without hesitation.


Edit: re-reading the post looks like I'm buying those expnensive items. Lol... That is not the case, I was propositioned and basically said "unless there is something on Google that I don't know about, there is nothing I'm aware of worth $1000 or $400.

Btw drinks are way cheap in Vegas... Grab a roll of quarters and sit at a slot machine, girl walks by takes your order, she returns with your free drink... You tip her well and they will take care of anything you need!!!

This, but also works well in a high waitress traffic area on penny slots!
 
^^^ and I think he means ANYTHING ......just remind yourself what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, unless you leave town w a brand new std :eek:
I've always tried hard to be faithfull, but I don't trust myself around hot, loose, aggressive women when I'm stankin drunko_O all bets would be off!!

Vegas is a relative term Snappy... I don't think there is a slot less than $10 here at Bellagio. Circus circus? Yeah, you could probably play for hours for $10. Plus, I hate all electronic poker (100% rigged on timers so I've been told). Plus plus sitting at an arcade machine for a looong time just for a couple of drinks isn't all that fun.

Hmmm. Shit is scary... but she did say she was down to marry, then get it annulled... still super nerve racking... but its vegas baby!

Fuck it, just get her to buy a ticket... itll be worth it.
