Is there anyone in the triangle area that has the know how and means to paint vehicle's? I am in the process of using aircraft paint remover to remove all the paint from my jeep and i am going to start spraying primer on it soon, but i would like some one who is better setup and has the know how to paint it. LEt me know thanks. ps it doesnt have to be show room quality after all its my trail rig.

There was a guy, who posted in Craigslist about a month ago, that does paint jobs in Chapel Hill. Advertised 4 coats of base and clear and a much better job than the quick paint places for $400. I would search craigslist to see if you can find him if interested.

Well im thinging since its going to be a trail rig that i want to use a acrylic paint so it quicker and cheaper....i want to paint it like a 77 corvette yellow color...but i want to find someone to paint it before i go buy paint.

Oh i looked around on craigslist for that post but i didnt see it do you remember what category it was posted under

i would go single stage. It is way cheaper and it is very easy to do. I painted my jeep in an afternoon (outside) and rolled it into the garage . The next day she was good to go. I would volunteer but I havent got the time right now.
Go get cha a cheap spray gun prime it ,sand it w/ 320 and spray the heck out of it with single stage . Spray a light coat all over to get a feel for the gun and to get it tacky. then spary a good coat on , let it dry for about 10-15 mins and spray it again ,do that again and let it dry over night ...

yea im sure i could do it i just dont have a place to do it is the only thing..and yea im definitely using a single stage paint.
