Looking at taking my 15 and 17 yo kids to a Journey concert. Took them to Walnut Creek in Raleigh last year for a country show and it was one huge drunk fest . Me and my wife and kids hated it. The whole place was full of sloppy drunks. I mean everybody was falling down mean and nasty drunk. Think it will be that way on the lawn at Charlotte for Journey?

It's hard to say. Journey draws a little older crowd. I saw them in Greensboro last time they were there. GREAT SHOW!!!! You'll love it.

I'm sure the show will be good, but I wouldn't take children there. Parking is free & the gates open early enough that people party in the parking lot before going in. You would think with beer prices as high as they are they wouldn't once they get in, but that doesn't seem to hinder the drinking. I've even seen people go over there without tickets and just hangout at there car & drink their own cheap drinks.

I was at that show with my kids. We loved it except for the fact that they did not play Who's Crying Now which charted higher than Don't Stop Believin.

i used to work there and yeah they bring in a older crowd like theres always going to be ppl dinking there but they have a family section on the lawn its at the front left of the lawn where u cant drink or smoke in so that wont be too bad for ya but really there shouldnt be that many falling on there asses drunks out there
