Verizon wireless broadband and a desktop

Anybody using a Verizon Wireless broadband card (Mifi 2200 402b) with a desktop? What wireless network adapter are you using for the desktop? I'm using a Linksys WUSB54G and the thing is flakey. Sometimes the USB looses it's mind and I have to restart. Other times I can't tell you what is wrong but I can't get the network signal until I restart. Maybe looking at another adapter that is PCI instead of USB. I have three printers, a card reader and sometimes a video camera along with keyboard and mouse attached via USB. It seems like I have less trouble when the camera is not plugged in but it still seems unstable. Also, sometimes it seems like it freaks out when my neighbor has theirs on or any other mobile device that happens to be turned on nearby. Seems to happen wether I use the Linksys Wireless Monitor or Windows monitor or VZ Access Manager but it seems like the Windows monitor is less flakey. Just wondering if someone else has experienced any flakiness and if not what is your setup. Never have a problem when I plug the card in to the USB only when it's acting like an acces point. Thanks.

I'm using an ancient "take out" Linksys PCI card that surprisingly does very good in my 5 year old Dell/XP/Media Center box.

I have issues on a Vista/Dell Precision M4300 at the office that chokes on both: too many USB devices &/or dropping to the basic color scheme (webex session, etc) and requires unplugging/plugging the KB...

So, your suspicions of underlying USB issues may not be far off
