Thank You to all that have served or are serving.

My 16 y/o has respect for those in or who have served in the Military. She also loves history and Especially military history. Over the past few days the two of us have binged on Band of Brothers and are now working our way through The Pacific. By the end of Band of Brothers I think she had shed a few tears. And she's pretty tough skinned too. I think it gave her a perspective that Class room books just won't portray.

Posted this on the book of faces.

So now that Veterans Day is over I have to speak my mind. I am a Veteran so I guess I have the right. If you truly want to honor the Veterans that have served this fine country here is a list of things that I feel will honor them best.
1. Go out and vote
2. Own a gun, know how to use it and educate your kids on gun safety
3. Help your neighbors, your family, and your countrymen.
4. Don't be racist or a bully, be part of the solution not part of the problem...
5. Be a mother or a father, doesn't mean just have kids it means raise your kids.
6. Be proud to be an American, be proud of those who came before and the sacrifices they have made, honor their memory.
7. Join the military and become one of us!
