My sons 97 Chevy looks like will be needing a new even side head if Poteats decides not to warranty it. So what are y'all using for replacements if the old one is bad? If they'll warranty it, we will just bolt it back in. If not then I'm not so sure I want a stitched head going back in. Summit Racing is $340 each on new ones.
We are still trying to figure out why it may be bad.
 
I have a set of heads ready to bolt on. The rocker studs are pinned and the valve guides cut for the seals.Let me know if you are interested.
 
Incorrect diagnosis, turns out that the Fuel injection spider is bad. Thanks but guess I wont be needing heads.
 
190+ and as it turns out, one of the heads was bad but spider was bad too. NAPA has an updated spider that seems like a much better version than the OEM.
