So, I need a new set of waders. I have a Bass pro neoprene pair that I hate because they are hard to walk in. Every year I get to the coast for thanksgiving and hate that I didn't buy new ones. I don't really want to break the bank, but want something that will last and be more comfortable. I have probably had my set for 10 years or so. I usually only use them for 1-2 trips in the fall-winter. Insulated or non insulated is fine. What are you guys opinions?

Edit: these are for surf fishing

Insulated for sure if they're for duck hunting. I got the cablas brand before last season and I have been very pleased. They fit a little snug but by being that way they're easier to walk in. I had my last pair probably 6yrs and they finally had enough holes in them that my legs couldn't heat the water as fast as it would seep in ha.

I got cabelas bc they have a very lenient return policy. I read on some forums that they would exchange 2 and 3 yr old waders no questions asked.

I'd love to know what good waders where like....the gander mountain cheapie I bought are dang near to dangerous to wear....I've been more stable drunk then wearing those things trout fishing.

USIA waders. I love mine. Made of cordura not neoprene. They are super tough.

Can be made any size with any size boot. I wish I had got the upgraded boots will send mine back and get them upgraded soon.

Lacrosse swamp tuffs are badass but the boots don’t last if you wear em a lot expect a good few years if not used a lot I can make a pair last 2 years but I use for fishing I get 1000g thinsulate and can go commando in summer in the river just fine usually old boots and jeans tho waders are only for winter angling or hunting through thick/deep stuff!
