I got a yj and i was thinking about putting a set of waggy axles under it. What year range would be good to look for, and what all would need to be done to set up the steering. Looking for the least amount of work required for now, as this will just be a beater.
To answer you question, 80-92 waggy axles will work. Just bypass the 83-84 front axles with the disco and make sure you get a D44 rear and not a D20. They are the same width give or take an inch. You will have to re-do the rear perches, and the front are one inch off.
