Im looking to mount my TV on my wall....was looking around and found a few reviews for this mount.
http://www.amazon.com/Cheetah-Artic...67&sr=8-2&keywords=60"+full+motion+wall+mount

anyone have any experience with these? price is nice and looks to be quality, Im always a little sceptical on mounting my pride and joy on my wall, but I think it will look nice as well as free up some space.....plus I want to have the full motion of the mount.

I use the non motion fixed cheetah on my 70" plasma
Served me well.

TV hasn't fell.

Had to assemble it... they include cheap ass tools like a furniture piece. I threw them away and used real stuff

I used the next size smaller Cheetah mount, the 20-55" size, that supports up to 115lbs to mount my 50" which weighs around 60lbs. The mount is nice, smooth, and seems to support the TV fine. The issue is the tilting brackets that attach to the TV. The little set screw that holds it at the tilt angle you desire is not enough to keep the TV there. No matter how tight I got it, the TV would slowly tilt down. I wound up throwing a couple hose clamps around the bracket to hold it at the angle I desired. Other than that it's been great for about a month now.

After putting the mount up, without the TV on it, I did press down on it with what I felt was probably 150lbs or so of weight (just short of picking my 200lb self up) and while it did flex slightly, I had absolutely no concerns mounting my TV that was 1/2 of the weight capacity on it.

Now that I know the angle I like the TV at, I have considered taking it back down and tack welding the angle brackets in place.

It doesn't move as smoothly as units that cost twice as much. The tilt takes a little fiddling unlike units that cost twice as much. But it costs half as much as nicer units. Been supporting my 50" plasma for a couple years now. I set it where I wanted it and haven't moved it much since. I got it for flexibility and cable access, and it's served me fine.

I buy all mine from monoprice.com I have used at least 3 mounts from there personally have have tons of friends that have used them

Cheetah mounts though are fine and will get the job done.

I have one from Monoprice that is basically the same style, w/ a 54" plasma. No problems whatsoever. I used 6 lag bolts right into studs.
I really like the scissors telescoping option, its great to pull out and angle to one side sometimes.
The thing has 4.5 stars w/ thousands of reviews... that makes it hard to believe it is junk. Def. better getting something oversised that undersized ;-).

Third here with one from monoprice.com. Ours easily holds a 52" plasma, but is tilt only. Big thumb nuts to hold it at angle without slipping
