Cut the front fenders with the fender flare line if you still have them on. Some slight mods and you can move the up. Use a BFH to fold the seem over in the front fender wells, do not cut the rear fender wells!! Make a few vertical cuts up to where the outer body and inner fender meet and fold it under. That is a pinch weld and it comes apart if you just cut it. If your not already aware of this and don't know exactly what I mean then Google it.
You can get by like this on 33s but I would probably run 2" pucks up front and shackle in the rear. This will mean transfer case drop is needed also if you don't have already.
As for gears, it is not mandatory to regear with 33s but it would help a great deal. Especially on the highway. Ideal gear would be 4.10 but if you think you will go to 35s down the road you should wait and swap an 8.8 from an explorer in the rear and then swap the gears to 4.56.
8.8 is a great swap, very strong axle, very simple swap, and you get disc brakes. However it is best to find one with an open diff rather than limited slip, that way you have the option of a locker and its a stronger carrier.
