I have an old alum truck bed box that I want to put on the tongue of my trailer. I'd like to sit it beween the frame rails and for that to happen, I would have to notch the front corners of the box. Would anyone be willing to weld it back up for me for $20 or so? I don't have a spool gun or argon tank. If not, no biggie- I can sit it on top of the trailer rails but would prefer not to.

Not sure what he charges, but you can check with Steve Hinson, at Transport Equip., 4701 Statesville Rd. Charlotte, 704-596-8611.
He works in the back, for himself, but Transport can transfer you; tell him I recommend him.

Marsfab and Carolina Truggies are both local shops, and board sponsors with the equipment and ability and Chris and Alex are damn good guys to boot!

We will be glad to help you. Just bring it to Performance Offroad of Cornelius and Jason will hook you up..we are on Statesville Road right beside Talley Pier 77 Boats.

Totally agree. Both offered to help. Says a lot for the both of them! I didn't want to bother either one with it, as it was a really crappy- not worth it- kinda job...
