Long story short. I have a customer that is having a hard time with the va and dealing with ptsd. I reached out to 2 different close friends that are on here and both within hours reached out to my customer(more like a close friend).
I see these guys every week and can tell when something is weighing on there minds and hearts. He pulled me aside today and told me something that made my heart sink and worried me on the spot. I am not going into details but most can image what it was. He has been getting the run about from the VA.
After he chatted for a while with one of the members here, said member messaged me and said you could have just saved a vet. This hit home when I got the same message from my customer. I say this to remind everyone that if they see someone struggling/hurting, reach out. I am not a vet and cannot directly relate like a vet can but feel my actions today may have saved a life and kept a family there father.....
Here's to said members that helped when i reached out. No names needed unless you feel it will help the cause to let others know there is help out there. Thanks again...
