I've been wanting to learn how to weld and to do basic metal fab for a while now. I guess I have yall to blame for this after seeing what some of yall can do with some metal tube.

I'm 24 years old and live in Lincolnton. I'm a pretty quick learner and I love to build and fix things. I'm just limited on what I can do. I'm willing to help you turn wrenches in exchange for some of your knowledge on metal work. I can even bring drinks and lunch. I prefer someone that can be vouched for by other members if possible. I don't want to take a step in the wrong direction by learning bad habits. Feel free to PM me if you like.

Thanks,
Jesse

Sent you a pm. If u can mae the trip I can show u a few things.

X2 on community college.
Worth every penny.
At FTCC it was like $80 for the MIG con-ed class, 8 weeks... during which time you get access to teh hsop for 4 hrs once a week and all the consumables you need.
Basiclaly, they show you the basics, then you spend the time learning by doing it and screwing up, doing again, screwing up again... over and aver and over.
Best $80 I ever spent.

yea local comm college is the best take a little time and for around one hundred bucks take a entry level knowledge class. I took a class while I was layed off learned a lot
