I am not a cat hater and I and my wife have owned 6 over the years and injoyed their company along w the hassles of indoor cats. We now have dogs. A group of catnuts wants our gubnt officials to allow them to trap feral cats, sterilize them, and release them back to nature where they kill countless songbirds, baby-(easily)and adult rabbits, squirrels and other native wildlife. It is currently illegal, It's called abandonment!. I cannot find any logic w how this is going to curb the feral cat problem that is large and impacting throughout our state. I really think they want pemission to take trapped cats (caught by the Co.) and release them back to the wild after spay/neutering and inoculating the healthyer stray cats. The president of the group was quoted saying "killing the cats doesn't work, it never has"? ? ? It worked for me when I had property damage from nuisance feral cat's. I hope this isn't construed as political, To me, It's about protecting our great states fantastic wildlife from an unatural threat.

Are cats that big of a problem? If so 22 ammo is pretty cheap, could get bout 500 for 20 bucks.

I had a rather large feral cat problem at my house before I got my dogs. They pissed on everything and tore stuff up. I started plinking when I found 3 asleep on the porch one morning. Those things smelled as if they had been living in a rotten restaurant dumpster in the middle of the summer.
