I have a f-350 1 ton truck, shifter inside no push button crap, had manual locking hubs on both sides, one was factory one was a superwinch.

Anyway, I lost one, or one got gone somehow:shaking:

So I bought a new set of warn manual locking hubs, neither side will fit spindle nuts are holding it out far enough to where the retainer ring wont go in place, warn and all the other hub company's claim that you have to replace the spindle nuts with a kit, but only for trucks that had auto locking hubs. Well this truck had manual locking hubs

Do I have to spend another $100 for the spindle nut conversion kit?

I'm having the same trouble. Haven't figured anything out yet. It's lookin like I may end up replacing with stock hubs and that sucks......

well it doesnt make any since to me

this is the footnote on the box

When replacing the "automatic" 3 hole cap screw hubs with manual hubs, you must purchase spindle nut conversion kit PN 32721

Damn companys, they should have included that spindle nut kit!! part # ky345533493475 (horse shit)

Good luck with it Guff!
