Warning for Windows / Microsoft users

The 6:00pm news, spoke of a warning put out for Windows & Microsoft. One or the other 'accidently" released a document that told how to get access to any such user, & enter your files. You need to install a New update, to counter this. So I searched for one, couldn't find anything specific.
I just closed my PC as usual, let it self check updates, & turn off. I watched fro 5 minutes, the message {checking so don't turn off}. Walked away for 1 minute & then saw my PC had shutdown. So I don't know if it updated anything, or IF there is an update yet! Just passing this along.
