Has anyone tried this?

It sounds to easy to me, but a friend put it on his Neon yesterday and is claiming his mpg went from 33 to over 60 (for $53 and about 1/2 a days work)! I want to try it, but am curious about the long term effects.

So how has he measured a reliable fuel mileage estimate in one day..................

It is claims liek this that make me hate this thing even more. Maybe an average of 2-3 tanks at least.... but one day of driving? probably "guessed" at the amount of fuel burned by looking at the gauge? come on.....

He filled up, drove approximately 60 miles (i dont remember the number), and returned to the same station and same pump to refill. I know it isn't the same as burning a few tanks, but you know what your car will do, and you know if you see a significant improvement.

Did he add the MAP sensor switch box and mess with the ox sensor?

not yet. just installed the bottle and hoses.
how long have you had your system on? how does it affect the operating temperature? any significant improvements, advantages, disadvantages?
i am pretty skeptic myself. ever hear that if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is? I think that if it works, there must be a major downside somewhere; or else Detroit wouldn't be going broke trying to keep up with Japan.
