WATER WOES

I have a 91 xj with water woes. Alright as we all know we recently got an ass load of rain. I went out today to find a puddle in my passanger side of my xj. I checked the windo it was up. I hadn't drivenit in a day. I looked up the door jab and it was dry. There was a small amount near the speaker. I looked underneath butni holes. I pulled the carpet back from the firewall no water signs. the carpet got so much water that it was causing the carpet to start climbing up toward the firewall. I have never had this problem before and have no idea how it got water inside. Any ideas?
 
I had the same problem with my frontier, only mine was because I have the the CB cable running through the door and water was getting in that way since the weather strippling wasn't sealed against the door in that spot. Its got to be coming in from the top of the door or that area. Check your weather stripping and amke sure its good and sealed.
 
I had a '91 XJ for awhile. When it would super-downpoor (like yesterday), water would seep down around the fender, and in through the hole in the side fender just about the passenger kick panel... when there antenna line goes out to the antenna. Haooened more often when the electric antenna broke and I removed it (leaving a hole in the fender... which I covered with duct tape...).
Just a thouight.
