I'm guessing it would do OK at the beach w 2wd from the vid. It's obviously somewhat lightweight and the bottom is smooth. It would be awesome at a crowded boatramp 
I imagine it cost more than one of those 557 V-8 outboards though!! I think the jeep shape is functional also the flat nose might keep it from stuffing/submarineing and the fenders help w the hydrodynamics. I would think the Marines would want a few hundred of them too!!
