Yes we had a person that was SMARTER THAN A HOT DOG GUY! The 4X4 part that I brought to URE over the weekend had a lot of people wondering what the??? I appreciate everybody that came by and played along, even the club called AR15! They had as much fun as I did. A lot of the ATV guys and gals passed the part around and made some fair guesses. Among some of the better guesses were, That thing that Luke Skywalker was practicing his Light Saver skills with! Another favorite was a pivot ball mount for a gunturret off of a HUMVEE. Several people were "close or kinda" but not quite there. THE man that nailed it was.............STEVE "stumpie" BERTRAM, he drives a 82 CJ 7 JEEP that looked capable to tackle some good trails. The part was............out of a Toyota front axel, and was a early ( prior 1962 )Birfield, called a "BALL & CLAW BIRFIELD. Yes a few people came close but was not ON THE BALL so to speak. My wife was with me this weekend and many thanks to her also. Again many thanks for stopping by and getting to know YOUR HOT DOG GUY!
