We need a Android Nc4x4 app

There is Tapatalk for Android.

I haven't used it, but it seems to work for folks that do.
 
Someone please explain why an app would be helpful & why folks use Tapatalk. My son has a Droid and he can do anything with it that I do on NC4x4 on my computer.
 
Tapatalk runs on iPhone and others as well. The forum needs to activate it however. See http://www.tapatalk.com/faq.php for more info.
Just downloaded it and we're (NC4x4) don't seem to be activated.

The "app" vs. website is difficult to explain if you don't use a smartphone with apps. The app usually provides a more concise user interface that is designed for a small screen, and typically goes beyond that into the social networking space, and/or integrates capabilities of the phone. I'll make some up, as I don't know that Tapatalk actually does at this point, but maybe GPS location in a post, uploading a pic directly from the camera app, etc. Again, if you don't use a smartphone, I'm not sure those words mean anything.

I've been using tapatalk on my HTC Android for 2 years and it works great. I have no problem taking photos and posting them or viewing them thru tapatalk. I use it here and pirate and ls1 tech.

We've had Tapatalk support installed on the server for several years. Let me know if it's not working.
 
Tapatalk makes it very easy to navigate this forum via my phone. One thing I have noticed is that the camping section does not show up on it
 
Tapatalk works great on my DRIOD X! Much easier to navigate vs the browser.

You can also get the Tapatalk app for that :poop: iPhone.
 
Tapatalk is definitely the way to go. I also prefer it to the regular browser version.

X10 on TAPATALK....there is a free version the works great. The paid version allows a few perks like ability to upload pics. It cost like $2, well worth it in my opinion.

I didnt realize that nc4x4 was on taqpatalk. Usually when you are on your smart phone and go to a site it will tell you right away that the particular website is on tapatalk. But it never popped up on this site so I never checked. But this is good to know! Will be getting it soon!
 
my tapatalk won't let me select a thread, i can see all the new posts lists and forum headings and such, but once i select something it just continues to run that loading icon. have no problems on pirate or ls1tech, just NC4x4. has worked great for over a year til now. even downloaded most recent update and no worky. any ideas? just started doing this in past week.
 
I can't do shit about Tapatalk.
 
I've installed support for ForumRunner. It's similar to Tapatalk... Android/iOS app with push notifications. Free to try, with a few extra features added in for paid installs. Might be another option for folks that are having trouble with Tapatalk.
