Roanoke VA on Thursday and we have more coming today

Nothing but damp and cold in Black Mountain. Wish we could get a decent snow.

Oh well, with no shop to work in I can't complain too much. About to stretch a tarp and fix my busted hub bolts before next weekend.
 
Friend of mine drove down to my house from pa Thursday, showed up with a good foot of snow in the bed. What hasn't been used for snowballs is mostly still there.
 
Luckily we just have light rain here that is suppose to stop around mid day. I'm not in the mood for sleet, freezing rain, or snow today.
 
It's 34, and sleet melting. Only place I see it is on deck. Radar says it's moved off, so no more today. Bummer

Yes! Its an 09 Hemi Limited. I bought it new to replace our totaled mini van. I love this Jeep. Its a tank in the snow. Three days after I bought it in Dec 09 we had 18" of snow and it was amazing where I could go and how well it handled in the snow/ice. I pulled one Chevy 2500 4x4 and a Ford f-150 4x4 up our hill here in my neighborhood. My wife was pissed the day I bought but thanked me after that storm:D

I took her 08 JK Sahara w/D-44 LS out in the same storm and got it stuck in a level parking lot, she pulled me out with the Commander haha!

I knew it looked like a Commander. I've wheeled at URE with some Commanders alonog with my 05 Grand Cherokee. These things are tanks, especially in the snow, and always surprise everyone at what they can do.

Do you know Sal? I have wheeled with him at Camp Commander.

We got about a half an inch of snow this am. Kinda disappointing, was hoping for 4" to play in.
 
If it happens, it'll happen while my jeep is busted. :mad:
 
nothing special in Charlotte :(

However, we had an equipment delivery yesterday in Cary that had at least 300lbs of snow on it that came in from Minnesota! It was a nice site for us easterners! Couple of snowballs tossed at my contractors :D lol
