Got a couple of wheeling pics I figured we'd post. Before anyone gets upset, this is a legal place to wheel, and IS a marked trail...:) Black Yota is Kreggs, on 39.5 TSLs...The cut-up and exo'd XJ is Ben's on 39.5" IROks, and the mostly stock XJ is mine on 38" TSLs...;) It was a blast.

Kregs steering box urrrrr uhhh decided it didnt like where it was sitting....bolt sheared off.

That trail looks really cool with the creek, sure would like to know so more info about it. Or how to get to ride it.
 
Looks like a fun way to spend a day, Mac... Now tell your brother to quit playing around with his Cruiser and wheel it! :D

The steering box, Kreg spit a cap on the 44, and my girlfriend tried to rip my door hinges off the drivers side rear :) Not too bad at all.

Thanks Rich. Sam blew a head gasket on Thursday, so he had a good excuse this time. We'll finish fixing it this afternoon though. His beadlocks came in and we got 'em mounted, so he'll be back on the trail by next weekend.

Maybe we can organize a NC 4x4 run here soon, but I hate to post exact location of this place on a forum, because I don't want it to get overrun. I hope this doesn't sound rude, and I would love to take a group here, but the folks that showed us the trail said to keep it on the "down low" for these reasons - and NOT because it's illegal ;)
 
Man every time I see a new pic of Bens XJ he's lost more and more of the body!! Gotta ask ask well, where is this place??? Do tell!!
 
Sorry just read the hush hush in the post above. I understand the reason for that. But do get a ride organized for the NC4x4 folks. I would love to go.
 
Definately would like to get in on this trail ride if you need one more to round out the group.
