Weight of Ridding Lawn Mower?

Just wondering if anyone has a clue on the weight of a ridding lawnmower? I have a truck but considering pulling it on a trailor behind a 4cyl car and a small trailor. Im thinking right at 900lbs or so but totaly a guess. Would not want to be over 1500lbs trailor and Mower. Is a Troy Built 17HP but I am guessing there all about the same.

if its one of the newer ones then its not 900lbs. i have an old john deere 317 (18 hp engine) and it weighs around 600 lbs. if you can lift the front or back of the mower off the ground then you should be able to pull it behid the car. your mower probably wieghs around 350 lbs(?). check the owners manual if you have one.
