Weird auto editing in posts

When I am filling in a post, if I go back to change a misspelling or fix some grammer, if the new revised word bumps up against the next word in the sentence, it will auto change it, or delete the previous word....only happens here. The only way around it is to try to add a bunch of spaces before making changes, and sometimes it still randomly deletes words.
 
Do you have a Google pixel?
 
No, I have a Motorola something, the last one had android 9, this one has 10, both do the same thing.

Weird that it is the keyboard, the words/revisions don't populate on "my side" they just disappear in the text box.

That was part of the reason I got rid of my Google Pixel 2. The Samsung s10e I have now still does it occasionally, but not nearly as bad nor as often.
