weld in bungs

I have some heavy wall tubing that I am using for my 4 link setup front and rear

it measures 2 1/4" OD

and it measures 1 3/4" ID

option 1

I would like to use a 1 3/4" weld in bung, but cant seem to find any, I know that it would be a huge bung, and I dont even know If they make them

option 2

I also thought I would sleeve the 2 1/4" tube with some 1 3/4" .120 wall DOM, and then find some weld in bungs that would slide into the DOM

I think the first option sounds better, anybody know where to get some or who can make them?

1.75 ID is one of the options. I *think* they are talking about the ID of the tube but I'd call to confirm.

I've got a 3/4" 16tpi tap and the correct drill bit. Go buy some 1.75" solid rod.

what I would like to do is take some 4" pieces of solid rolled 2 1/4" and turn it down to 1 3/4" for the first 3 1/2", leaving .5" of 2 1/4" on the end to weld the tube to the bung and have a nice tight fit

I will supply the solid tube, and pay in some form or $ or both

I do believe I can have that done. We might have to tap them though. Let me know what you figure out.
