Welding help

I am in need of welding some aluminum. Anyone have the ability to help me out? I’ve got resources to weld everything but aluminum.

I just need to weld this plate to the black housing. Probably get by with plug welds or tacks on the seams.

I was actually able to get in touch with a local guy who teaches welding at ACC and he hooked me up. I also realize too late I was using the wrong alloy which caused me all my headaches. Aluminum sucks!

I believe I had 7075, which turns out is great for screwing or riveting together but crap for welding.

^^^I bet machining a block of 7075 is nice. The only aluminum I ever get to work on is crappy cast stuff.
