Welding spider gears

I have a K5 with 10 bolts f/r on 36" iroks. Yeah I know its a bad idea, but thats all the budget can handle right now. I'd like to weld my rear spiders. What would this affect? I suppose I could afford a spool/mini-spool if it would be that much of a better route.
 
You'll be draggin tires on the street when turning, no big deal really just wear your tires out quicker. Most likely your gonna snap some axle shafts...but I'm sure this has crossed your mind.
 
i know you are poor but if you lock up those 10 bolts you be axin for trouble with that heavy vehicle and big tire, id stay open till you can afford at the very least a 60 rear and 44 front, which wouldnt be too expensive
 
Yeah axle breakage has crossed my mind quite a bit. Thanks for the input. It doesn't see too much road usage so wearing out my tires really isn't a big deal. Just the drive from my house to the trails and an occasional ride around town is what pavement it sees.
