Went Postal: Mail jeep chop top

Alright in the mist of the mighty max build i was talking to my father in law and he informs me they are giving me their old mail jeep mother in law use to drive as a back up vehicle and she beat this one to death. So with a small budget lack of metal work tools(working on that) this 71 2wd is getting some summertime mods.
Step one:
doors off and Cut off roof skin
step two:
Fix idle issues and try to adjust some really crappy steering and brakes.
will have pics up this weekend.
Just want on record i have been working on cutting the roof off with a sawzall....haha i wish i have it 90% cut off with a rubber hammer and a flat head screw driver yup.
figured it be a fun little pos to drive around and beat on.
And hey if it blows...send it to the scrape yard.
will accept any donated parts

got more work to do but just wanted to throw some pics up, and that is green primer not the od green had some slight body work to do and more i havent got to yet. its def a cheap fun eye catcher and have less than 100 bucks into it o yea

that was my intentions when i first got it but after reviewing suspension setup i dont think i want to put that much work into it, but it would be awesome to slam this thing
