Please take the time to pray for the families of the victims today.

These people not only lost loved ones, but many were the bread-winners also.
 
Word.
News is already coming out about the horrible safety record of this mine; part of it was shut down for CO2 buildup just a few weeks ago. Of course "no comment" from the owning company.
This is going to be nasty.
 
Really sux. I noticed that the owner is a Hatfield. Wonder if he's from the same Hatfield clan that was part of the infamous Hatfield and McCoy feud?
 
Sad thing. I understood the mines bad safety record was more the cause of the previous owners and that the new owners had been making improvements right and left.
 
Studnuts: 13 miners got trapped almost 2 miles down in a mine in WV after an explosion caused by lightning and methane gas. The thing that sucks the most is someone f'd up big time last night and reported that 12 were alive and only one was dead, when actually 12 were dead and only 1 lived(which they reported 3 hours later), and he was in critical condition last time i heard. Definitely sucks.
