What’s the scam?

Wife got a legit $50 Target gift card in the mail from a random person in Louisiana yesterday. Not a random typo because they sent it to the correct full name and address.

Traces back to this daycare teacher who doesn’t exactly look like the she’s running a big scam ring…

I suppose her CC got hacked and those people are sending out gift cards to a bunch of people including themselves to muddy the water. Also means they at least have my wife’s name and address and we need to watch our cards
