Saved from my F250, it’s about 2’ long and big.

About 10 years ago I took several to a recycler in town and had no issues, just showed my ID.

2 years ago I showed up to the same place with 3 cats off my vehicles and they acted liked I killed somebody. Told me to get off the property and never come back. Not sure what has changed.

I sent a message to a recycler in town that says they buy them but don't wanna be lowballed.

Guy got back to me. He said I need registration, ID and check has to be made to the owner. Now I just need an idea on value. At least a hondo I would imagine.

Is it gas or diesel? If you can post a few pics of it and see if you can find numbers stamped on it I can ask my guy.

Gas. Guy said easily over $100 once I sent a picture, but he needs to see it for exact value. Place is Tarheel Converter and Core. I’m happy with that, pays for my wheels and the blasting I had done on them.

To sell cat's and copper and aluminum in SC you have to register with your county and get a permit.

I was going to comment earlier and got side tracked. I have a few laying around I need to sell.

Came here to figure out what a convertible for felines was "cat conv".

When I have one to scrap, I just call up one of the shady buyers on craigslist with a picture and PN they will give you a price.....call a few to keep them all honest.

Approximately half of the ceramic stuff was gone, some bigger chucks still in there and half was fine (it was rattling which is why it was replaced).

I thought the price was great, it was an easy process and they are only 20 minutes from me.
