Ok done alot of thinkin lately about what i was gunna do to my jeep and my plans are to keep it the way it is until somethin goes. So im looking into gettin a new set of 35s. My jeep is not quite my DD but i drive it alot on the road but take it to uwharrie too. Right now im really leaning towards the Km2s. Also lookin at the Cooper STTs, Radial Rockers and the M16s but for the m16s i would have to got to a 16" rim.

Any opinions towards these or any other tires i should consider.

Thanks

Opinions are gonna vary. I was looking to get a set of 35 km'2s and ran across a good deal on a set of 35 procomp mts with around 1000 miles on them. They sound likethey would fit the bill for you. I dd my runner about 50% of the time and an occasional trip to ure and the beach. Can barely tell any wear even running a welded rear. When checking prices I think the procomps would have been about a $100 more if bought new. Hope that helps.

yea i saw that but im looking for a more road friendly radial tire and those are a little price too. i can get km2s for 170 a piece since i work at discount tire

then thats what Id do..... KM2's are a great all around tire from what Ive been reading on them. Dont have a set of my own but If I could get em for that price thats what Id be rollin

im running TSL's right now, but my next set of tires will be cooper STT no questions asked, a guy i work with has them in a 35 and has over 30k on them and the still look GREAT!! he's expecting to get at least 55k out of them. they havent cupped or anything, he rotates them every oil change (3,000 miles) and keeps 30lbs in them.
we went to uwharrie after some good rain a few weeks ago and his tires amazed me. they do just as good as my TSL's if not better. i wont them for their offroad performance, and great life on the street.
i seriously cant wait to wear mine out so i can buy them next!
shoot mine are only 2 months old with like 100 rd miles on them, ill trade if anyones down..lol

First of all go with 16" rims. That way if you upgrade your axles you can keep the same tires. Which tire depends on what you are willing to sacrifice. If you want max off road ability then TSL. If you want nice road manners then BFG AT KO.

i agree if ur going hardcore go tsl's but they dont have much life for the road if ur about half and half go with the Nitto Trail Grapplers got them on my JK love them great off and on road dont wear fast ride good and no noticable road noise

x2 on the Cooper STT's. I'm running them and they are great. They're quiet for a mud tire on the road but do great offroad. They clean out really good in the mud and grip like crazy when aired down and do just fine when they're not. The sidewall is very strong and aggressive and help out a lot on rocks and in ruts. I'd recommend them to anyone.

i got 35 12.50 procomp xterrains on my yota. i love these bad boys. they ride real good fro a m/t, havnt had them offroad yet though, but they seem to be wearing reall good. i had 35 bfg mts on before and i didnt like them. ill never own another set. i took it to Callentee with them and it didnt take long to start chunkin the lugs. they didnt have to much tread maybe half but still. my buddy had 33 12.50 procomp xtreme mts on his runner that day and he did better then me by far.

Well 35" KM2s are on backorder till july! i tried for 3 months to get them and finally just settled for a 33 KM2 and they are AWESOME to say the least, throw rooster tails 2yrds high and dig like a backhoe!! great road manners and look awesome

KM2 is a great tire, I have 69+K miles on mine now, yeah its time for new tires but they arent bald. I'll take some pics.

what size are they 35 1250 15 or different?

im not exactly sure but are the tire made of a different rubber when they are a different load range? i know 35 12.50 17s are LRE and the 15s are LRC. Does the load range effect the life of the tire? Say if they were both on my wrangler would the Es last longer?

I know they have more plys as the load range goes up. C-6 D-8 and E-10 i believe

Good luck finding a set of KM2's in a 33 or a 35. I was looking for a set a couple weeks ago and nobody in the US had a set in stock. National backorder everywhere and they all say a month or 2 out still. I broke down and got a used but pretty much new set off a member on here. I love them so far. Real quiet on the road and work great offroad so far.
