So no real turbo updates. My son started building a boat in my garage so that has delayed this project but I have collected all the parts for the compounds.
Really been struggling with my tune for the last couple years and didn't realize how bad it was until our last trip to IVY and had to really manage EGT and crawled up hills at sub 50mph. It was pure ridiculous. The truck stock with the same load was able to keep 70 on the same trip. Also was fighting engine coolant and oil overheat which I never had before.
So gave up on the current tuner and bought CA Performance tunes after a recommendation from Randy's transmission. Randy's apparently works with CA Performance and approves of their 2nd gear locked torque converter and locked shifts.
Places the order this morning and just received files this afternoon. I'm about 6 hours away from home with family in the truck so not risking a tune change on the road but will load these in the morning and post back with updates.
And my son's boat will be done soon and we'll start the compounds later this fall when I get shop space back.
