just wanted to make sure, but is this a 9.75? It is out of Ford e250 van that had a 4.6, so I imagine it's geared low...I haven't checked gearing yet.
Plan to sell it on CL .Im just trying to gather a little info before I post it. Whats it worth?

Its a 60. (or possibly a 61? what year is it?) Does it have "60" cast into the lower right corner of the center section?

(Where it sez model number here...)

Any tags on it?
Outuva van so its wider than a pickup.
150.00-200.00? 'Specially if it has a descent gear in it. And who needs it!

What ^^ said. Looks like it has ABS too (not a big deal, just a couple extra wires to cut :D)

It has a tag going up and down between the two right side bolts. I'm assuming this is a 60 with 4.10's..

It reads

4.10 v2C24 jc <--the ''v'' is actually a triangle, not a v.
606836 3

the bottom left corner of housing webbing reads

47510

Looks just like my 60 from a 2000 e350 'sept mine is ff. Is it 8/6.5? It should have 35 spline shafts stock. I would say $250 is a fair asking price

That almost looks like a dodge hemi 1500 Dana 60. 5 on 5.5 lug pattern. Super rare and a flat out STEAL for anything less than $600

That's definitely a Van Dana 60. I regear a ton of those for Ujoint Offroad here in town. 35 spline, c-clip, 8 on 6.5 pattern, smooth bottom and most have 4.10 gearing.
Really good axle for the price.

At second glance it is 8 lug. Had to pull it up on big puter

The D 61, was an off set center section, at least the old models were, & with drum brakes. Guys loved to get them, & cut the long side, to match the short side.
I sold ones to Randy Sloan, Way back!;)

I'll give you $900 for it. JK not really

I wish! My buddy is looking for a 5 lug 60 for his 440 four speed 71 Demon.

IF you do see one in a junkyard, its gonna cost a ton just because it's new. Just a stock replacement Dodge challenger rear end is topping $3k. 3.92 also.
