What Axle.

I am trying to determine what axle I purchased. I was told it was a Dana 30 wide track. What size is the tube for a Dana 30 wt. Is it the same size a narrow track D30. If so what is the size of the tube on a D44. I was told it was removed from a 76 cj but it wasn't the stock axle.

I have a narrow track D30 in my CJ5 and the axle I bought has a larger tube.

The tube diameter for a CJ narrow trac and CJ wide trac are the same.
A Dana 44 will have a larger diameter tube.

I have done the crazy thing and measured the axle.

It's a D44 59" wheel mount to wheel mount, 31" between spring mounts. Any idea what this is out of so I can trade or sell it. It has disc brakes. I was told its a 4.10.

I need a D30 widetrack 4.10 if any one has one.
