what axles?

I have a 78 c10 pickup that is 1/2 ton and it is lifted with 44 inch tires im trying to beef up the axles, what front and rear axles should I use for mostly road use but some off roading and still strong

Dana 60/14bolt combo will get you a long way. CUCV axles are your friend at this point. I believe GubNi may have one set left. Check the parts section.

I have the 14 bolt rears but can a dana 44s work in the front because I have thoose and I also have 10 bolt gm front axles could use

No a 10 bolt or Dana 44 will not hold up to 44" tires. You need a Dana 60 front. I do have one set of axle left.

front 60 with 4.56 gears - $900

rear 14 bolt with 4.56 gears and detroit locker $600

You really need 5.38 gears, but this would get you by for awile.
