they are all the same. the bass player is usually the goofy guy in the back that nobody really hears anyway. i have 10 six string guitars, but suck at playing guitar. should have played bass. many bands need bass player, too many guitar players out there. cool bass is a stienberger headless. a little more than $200. try www.musiciansfriend.com

I don't know, but still, your best bet would be a bass pack, so that you get an amp and a bass together. Takes out another purchase you gotta make. I bought my 80watt amp that I use on stage for my gigs at Guitar Center, and it was a steal. $300!

well, there ya go then. You can get it and not worry about shipping, but you just need to make sure that you get one that isnt really hard to play, and that has a more narrow neck. Fender is pretty narrow I think, and Ibanez is too, like somebody mentioned earlier.

Well I ended up buying an Epiphone SG. It was $199 on sale and came with a gig bag. I'll post some pics up tomorrow.

If I have the right one pictured...you definetly picked a cool looking one...my buddy used to have an old model sg...it was fun to play...real skinny neck on the one he had...still the same on the new ones?...

Yeah its pretty skinny...I'm liking it a lot, now I just need a bigger and nicer amp so it will sound good....(not that it doesn't right now) it will just sound better.
