What can you do in hickory?

I'm spending the weekend in hickory this weekend with my gf(she goes to LR) What is there to do up here, without a 4x4? Anything fun?

It's saturday night now, you can drive up and down 70 repeatedly.

All the party people went to the beach or White Trash Bash on Lake Norman saturday. WTB was great, made it to 5:30 this year. I had more Jello than a kindergarten cafeteria www.lknfun.com for some pics

Yep, I've yet to find anything outstanding...
but speaking of Hickory, anyone know of any places that can still boil out & recoat a gas tank? All the radiator shops I called don't do that any more, they just sell you a new one.

I had mine done here in Shelby at Mark's Radiator Shop.

As far as things to do in Hickory you can always get on I-40 (either east or west bound) and find somewhere else to do stuff. or go furniture shopping.

What does it matter what town you are in.
And Hickory actually has some great bars and restaurants.
