what do you think of this MP3 player?

I have 2 one for me and one for the wife we love em!got mine from Dell for $76 I think they have em at wal-mart right now for $60

It's not the one you're asking about but I thought I'd throw this out there for others that are looking into MP3 palyers for themselves or others.

As many know, I'm a big Mac fan. I have the 30Gig Video iPod. $200+ for the damn thing, all I'll say is that I'll never buy an iPod again. This was actually a Christmas present. OK actually, I got a Creative (brand) MP3 video, but it wasn't supported by Mac for Software. It was a nice pice of equipement. Almost wanted to buya PC just for it :D I took it and traded it on the iPod. Battery Life sucks, It locks up, it'll be playing a movie or music and the sound will just cut out. you have to reboot it. T replace the battery you have to send it back to the factory. It's just not impressive at all. Especially for the money it costs.

Ive had really good luck wiht my iPod 30GB Video, other than a relatively short battery life, but i can listen to it a high volume prettymuch all day and it wont die, the only problem is if i try to do that two days in a row without charging in between

only thing i wonder about with the one in the first post is will you really be happy with 1 gig?

i have 19 or so gigs of mine filled, and could fill up all 30 EASILY if i werent too lazy to rip all of my cds onto it, id go cray with on 1, 2 or 4 gigs of music on mine, but then again, i listen to it pretty much all day every day while on campus at school in the library doing hw, etc.

I have one of the Dell DJ 20gigs. It is about 3 years old and I have never had a problem out of it. It holds about 4000 mp3 and I get about 10 hours out of a charge. I was really amazed when Dell stopped selling them. Yet another of their bad decisions.

Also if you buy any of the big name players like iPod,I river, or creative, check out a company called red chair software. They make a 3rd product for use with these players that is 100 times faster than iTunes or the software provided by creative. I was able to fill my wife's new iPod 30 in about 25 minutes.
