Ding Ding Ding we have winner, this what the letters YJ, TJ, JK and so on came from, They were just letters in a vin and the engineers called them TJ and YJ for short.

No way the first digit of your VIN is the country code on most all Jeeps it is a 1 for USA followed by manufacture code which should be a J.

There is no official LJ that is print media and web forums only.
