is your tub fiberglass? mine is mostly tube and it weighs over 3500

No steel, but your post got me thinking that I hadn't weighed it since I put the new tires and rims on, thanks, so I ran it over to DH Griffin today. 3510, half tank of gas, no spare. Looking for anything 37"-40" x 15" rim :)

CYJ - That's still very impressive, since you have 60's and a full body...

Yag - I thought your junk was 4500+? It would take you and about 6 Valerie's to get you from 4000 to 4500 :D

Wish I knew what mine weighed.

d44's
37's
360 v8
cage
big heavy winch
body chop

I'm guessing 3,900??

4200-4400 pounds on CAT truck scales

1997 TJ loaded for the trail
4.0, 5-speed, NP231
D30/D44
33x12.50 Boggers on 15x8 Alum rims
interior cage, gas tank skid, steering box brace and skid
full-length engine/trans skid
no bumpers
front brush guard
full soft top
1/2 steel doors with soft uppers
33x9.50 BFG MT spare on stock steel 15x6 rim
loaded with spare parts and tools (rear axle shafts, front hub/stub, front d-shaft, toolbox, straps, chain, shovel)
3/4 tank of gas
no people inside

ya that was done on certified scales at a trucking palce (back home), i did have my spare (150#) spare optima (40#?) tons of tools, junk and me :) @ 160# so I guess that prolly the difference in readings.. also their big rig scale only read the the next 100# and i didnt bother to sweep the 100' scale off :flipoff2:

I hope to mess with spare tire locations to see how the COG all looks on paper..

Hmmm..interesting... I do know that my 38.5" SX's on 15x10 steelies w/beadlocks weigh exactly 125# a piece.. Nicole was none too pleased when i told her I used her scale to find out.. :D

Speaking of which, I'm having a heck of a time finding the third member I need, so I might not have my rig mobile for a bit.. Seems almost silly to install my spare (coarse spline) third just to roll it around

I got several rear 60's and some 9"s too....would never need to worry about the yota stuff again...lol

Not to open up a can of worms here but I said 60s in the sig to keep the flak down :) The front is actually a Dana 46 uuuh 41 uuuh 64? F250 D44 sleeved into an F350 D61 centersection so I can run the 7:17s. Call it a 60 and people say it's not, true. Call it a 44 and people say you can't run 7:17s in a 44, true. I'm callin it a 46 :) Crappy I know but hey, I'm retired and got no money. Plus not quite a full body, no doors, no spare and really not that impressive. Trust me :)

My ranger weighs about 4100 with no tools, parts, or people in it.

Sam(slim)
