What have you done for your health today?

Today will be 2 months since my last beer. Haven’t touched liquor in years so that was a non issue. Some observations:
-Sleeping better (more restful sleep)
-I’ve lost about 10 lbs (no change in my food diet)
-$$ saved
-My GI process is way better (although my wife says I’m still full of shit)
-I still have a horrible short term memory but I think I’m just a bit ‘tarded. Or, too many TBI’s from playing army.

Honestly there’s beer in the garage fridge and I don’t even look at it and reach for a water instead. Pretty happy with myself.

I have been trying to v to quit as ee, but I keep having a single l ce I. A while that leads to another 6 pack purchase, I’m gonna try to go cold turkey after the get together

Birthday was July 9th. Woke up on the 10th ready for a real change.

Started at 225, this morning I'm at 202.1. Every weekday has been spent lifting and I run 3miles or more on the weekends. I've been tracking all my lifts/workouts through the app FitBod and have been using MacroFactor for tracking all my meals. Haven't had a beer or really any craving since the 9th. I've also been on a peptide stack since the 10th and have never felt better.

Got a blood test done last week. Everything looks good with the exception of low magnesium, D3 and fish oil. Started supplements last week. I also have low T. Will be starting on TRT next month to fix, still shopping around for a provider.

Hell yeah, congrats on the progress.
Curious what peptide stack?

Im sure you know this, but make 100% sure you are ready for a permanent commitment on the TRT. Once you start, your nuts are done and its forever until death or you will crash to shit.

There is a whole conspiracy theory out there that the rise of TRT clinics is to get a large % of the pop on it, then totally crack down on its availability leaving a neutered populace unable to defend itself.

FWIW there are a lot of natural ways to raise T without taking it exogenously... plus the testing time and protocol matters. One of the tricks that the clinics like is to draw blood mid to late afternoon. T should follow a circadian and all of the guidelines are based around a blood draw within 3 hours of waking. I did a self study a few years back when I was strongly considering it (and had a friend with access to free lab tests) I will go back and find the lab results but for example we both tested 3x a day for 10 days.

My rough numbers
7A - 615-770
3P - 195-370
9P - 400-650

Not to mention, if you are cutting and in a caloric deficit (which you are based on the weight loss T will by definition tank during any cut as your body perceives starvation and doesnt want to waste/expend any energy on growth or aggression when it is trying to survive.

@Ron current peptide stack is:
-Retatrutide: appetite suppression, weight loss, metabolism
-BPC-157: Repair/recovery/anti inflammatory
-KPV: inflammation/gut health
-GHK CU-Skin/Tissue repair/hair/anti-inflammatory
-TB-500- Recovery
-CJC+Ipa: growth hormone

Each one has different dosing requirements. Minimum is 3 injections a day, maximum is 4-5. With peptide pens, it's very simple.

I'm also looking at adding in Tesamorelin in the next few months to target visceral belly fat.

In regards to TRT, my nuts have been done since I was born . I'm a carrier for cystic fibrosis and one of the side effects is a natural vasectomy. Agreed on testing/timing. I drew blood at 6:30AM in a fasted state so I'm sure that it contributed. My score then was 330. Being in a cut definitely contributes as well. I used Rhythm Health for the blood tests and still researching which clinic I want to go with for TRT.

Food wise, it's all whole foods. Lot's of lean protein, healthy fats and good satiating carbs. No real cravings at all even.

Good stuff. Sorry on the CF.

BPC157 is probably the best peptide out there in my opinion. Paired with TB500 it is a potent healer.

One thing to keep in mind, the reason it failed clinical trials - it does a great job of promoting cell growth to signal areas rapidly. That's how it heals. The bad, if you have cancer cells, even dormant ones, they are signal cells by definition and there is the potential that it will rapidly increase its growth rate by the same mechanism. For wound/injury healing its unmatched. But the influencers advocating base continual use, imho its highly dangerous advice.

But you've got so much going on there interaction, counter-action and amilation wise ...I dont envy your bank account :D

@Ron agreed on all points. BPC157 is phenomenal for healing. Magic in a bottle. I was a huge skeptic at first but I've seen the effects first hand. No aches/pains/soreness at all. I think I will eventually treat BPC as a targetable peptide and not as an everyday use. Sore shoulder or knee, run it BPC for a few days and be done.

I've got a group that bulk buys in 10EA increments. I "split" my stack with a friend and it came out to $250ish. That's 2-3 months of use. Peptide pens are 5 for under $100. Then you need BAC water, alcohol pads, extra needles etc. Upfront cost was high but now buying in bulk saves a ton. The wife wants to get on them as well next year so my cost will increase. I've found some reputable online TRT clinics that are around $99 a month as well as a few local CLT clinics that are $120-150 a month.

This is awesome. Trying to get here myself. I am currently working on just about every other aspect of my life, but this is the one I am struggling with. I guess because I feel like its the last part of what I consider to be normal...

Tesa/ipa was a game changer - you'll love it!

I started 1.5 years ago & cycle different stacks about every 3 months, currently down 55#.

Depending on where you fall with your numbers, PCP or urologist may be able to prescribe & insurance will cover for TRT. The downside is they're just looking at getting you to a normal range vs optimal.

Which is where you test dope....(allegedly) using the above info and your knowledge of what impacts circadian timing...you manipulate the findings...then when time to update/check in...it would be a shame if you missed a dose...and were articifially low..

That's the game played by many in the fitness/influence world

Thats awesome. A few of my friends are both down around 50lbs as well, started in April. Hadn't thought about using insurance to help offset some cost.

I need to look into it for sure.
