Shaft is 1/2" dia, maybe 4" long.

Has a hex socket on one end, and a three tooth key on the other.

well not what I thought it might be then. I was thinking a drain wrench but not big enough. Hell you must have a one of a kind cause google doesn't know either.

Maybe a spindle wrench for a surface grinder. At least on the keyed end.

Looked like a shotgun choke tube tool until you gave the size

A key for a binding strap ratchet.

When i was in grade school, the tables in the lunch room would fold up into wall boxes so the room could be used as a gymnasium, that looks similar to the key that locked the tables into the wall boxes when stowed away.
Its been 40+ years i could be wrong

Can I buy a vowel? o_O

It definitely qualifies as a scrench of some sort.

Looks like a tiny version of a jet ski impeller wrench or a Mercury retainer nut wrench. I almost looks like a carb tool but I can't think of what carb would need a 3 dog socket on it.

The size and the screwdriver tip are throwing me.

Is very similar to the "hub-eze" tool [Patent 261606], from years ago, to lock/unlock your hubs without getting your fingers dirty.
I didn't think the sizing was right, or notches.

Might not be,thats just what came to mind.

Thread/weld a plug in the socket end, fill the plugged end w sand to the + inside and pack some clay to cover the + and sand, drill a fuse sized hole up from the + a bit.
black pdr, etc. rock salt or shot a wad a lighter.........

It a tool to take off the old hubcaps that had a threaded center cap bolted to the wheel studs.

and they were "keyed" to the center bolt an GM wire hub caps, the screw driver flat was used to pry off the center cap that covered said center bolt. Buick, OLDS, PONTIAC and many Chevy Caprice and Imapla had those in the glove box.

A 3 toothed micro hub socket for people from Raleigh.
