what is the number 10 shaft called in a jeep cj steering column?

I'm going to call it an "upper steering shaft", because I think the other part (part 12) is called the "lower steering shaft" in most vehicles with a column like that.

I could be very wrong; I'm just making up a name for it based on an educated guess..

Steering column steering shaft.

The lower one pictured is the steering shaft.

Or you could call it upper/lower.

Likely easier to source a complete column.
