What items must a vehicle have to pass state inspection?

Gotcha but it doesn't cover all these "Donks" you see driving around

I saw one the other day have to go through the parking lots of the gas stations on all 4 corners of a road just to make a left turn. The wheels were so tall and wide that they rubbed at about a 1/4 turn of the steering wheel. Could have driven a steam roller with more ease than this dude.

Was it in Kernersville? There is a ridiculously HUGE truck in K'ville that I have seen once or twice. BIG tires, and about 36" more lift than necessary to clear the tires. I can't even remember what kind of truck it is now. It has been at least a year since I have seen it.

No, this was in somewhere between Greensboro and High Point and it was a Crown Vic. The wheels were not in the 20's. I am thinking 30 somethings with tires that were at least 15" wide but 10 speed bicycle tall. It was silly looking. But hey, you have to look good when you are picking up the welfare checks for your baby mommas.

A buddy that does inspections.
