What kind of fastener is this?

We moved and seemedto have lost like 5 of these fasteners for my daughters bunk beds. I have looked through mcmaster-carr and can't find anything like it. Anyone know?

I've seen them in other furniture products, try Lowe's or Home Depot in their specialty widgets. Good luck. A specialty shop that deals in supplies for wood workers that build custom furniture might be a good place, Klingspore has a woodworking store in Hickory NC.

Go to a woodworkers supply house, they should either have them or be able to get them.

Try Reid tool as well, they have everything.

I don't remember seeing anything like that at Lowe's or HD, but the other guys are right with the woodworking specialty stores. Klingspor or Woodworker's Supply will have them, guaranteed. Take the one you've got and tell them you're looking for "knockdown hardware". Match it up, and you're in business!

I found it on another forum, they are called "cross dowels", just in case you need to build some furniture.
