Ok heres the deal,I have a SAS 1994 22re toyota pickup 36"TSL's aussie front and 5.29's front and rear which is a daily driver.I am from asheboro but based in goldsboro (got lucky) so I drive home sometimes to go wheelin, anyways the ? is what locker should I get for the rear?I need a locker that is road friendly and one that is not too expensive like ARB etc. unless someone has one for a good price!Just let me know what yall think, thanks!

How much off-oad performance are you willing to give up for street manners?

I have a CJ-5 and tried a lockrite, but hated it's street manners. Switched to a detroit tru-trac and love it. It has it's limits off-road, but it usually doesn't let me down.

i had a lock rite in my 84 yota and a mini spool in my 81 ford. both have pros and cons. mini spool eat up tires, while lock-rite was more streetable. spool rocked off orad while lock-rite was less off-road friendly. the lock rite is the route that i would go if you still want a streetable ride and off-road worthy at the same time. of course, if money were no object, i would get arb or ox lockers front and rear.

I had a loc-rite in the back of my yota. Once you get used to the way it acts you can't tell its in there. It worked good off road the only thing is it had a little drive line slop from the way it operates. As for detroit tru-tracks they are a limited slip, and I'll be damned if I'm going to pay $400+ for something that still won't spin both tires.:shaking:
Oh and ARBs are way over rated. Seems like every time I go with people that have them they are constantly working on them trying to get to work. Just my 2 cents:beer:

P.S. I'm still running the same loc-rite in front that I instaled in 2003. I've only had to replace a set of pins. I'm running 38.5x11 boggers, dual cases, 5.29s, 30 spline longs, and it gets a beating.

E-locker. It`s what I put in my 89. If you search, you can usually find one for a good deal.

I don't have alot of experience with lockers other than ARBs I've been wheeling a while now and everytime I push that little button they lock and when I just wanna play I push the button off. I don't think I'll try anything else.

OX Locker, they're only pushing a grand or so....

I like the Lock-Right, cheap, easy, and it works. It is slightly noticable on the street, but I've not had a problem with it off road. Hit the gas, it locks up, let off it disengages. Sometimes.... it feels like it "hangs" for a second or so when you first let off the gas, but no big deal.

Ox on a toyota??? E-lockers are nice, keep the contacts clean or they become usless. I vote E-locker....lockright on the cheaper side

I have a full detroit for awhile, it didn't bother me. The swampers make more of a fuss than the locker on the street

I've got a lockright in my yota and don't notice it on the street at all.

Aussie.....cheaper than anything and the pins will not have to be replaced....Very quiet and very streetable also you said you had one in the front.
