hello everyone, im new on here and to 4 wheeling. i was given a 87 suburban 4wd that was wrecked on passenger side(wiped out)
what truck body would fit back on this chassis? also is a 4wd chassis diffrent from a 2wd chassis? thanks for any help
 
Regular cab long bed, but the body mounts are in different places it would require some cuttin' and welding. Yes, a 4wd frame is much different than 2wd.

The biggest difference is in the front chasis. Your best/easeist bet would be to find a pick-up style/configuration that the drivetrain is hot and swap yours into it. You could get a 4WD or 2WD chasis and swap everything onto it. There was a crewcab dually on here for sale not long ago. http://www.nc4x4.com/forums/showthread.php?t=90968&highlight=crewcab. He wants like 1500 for it. I have a 91 2WD TBI burb I would sell. It is borderline perfect considering it is 20 years old. I have been wanting to trade it for a minivanfor the wfe to use asa backup to her (towrig) burb.
