I have a 74 K5 and I want to run 38x13 TSL's. but it seem like i cant get a good # on what size lift to run. i've heard some ppl say they ran a 12" lift for 39's and i've heard other say they ran just a 8" lift for 38's. i dont want to get a lift and it not work....

when I ever get around to building mine up i'm gonna do about 6", cut the fenders, and run 37-38"

I'm running 5" up front with 39s :driver:
Trimmed some and moved the front axle 1.5" forward with Zero Rates which helped tremendously! If you can move it forward to keep the tire from hitting the rear of the fender, you would be suprised how much bigger of a tire you can stuff in there!

My biggest thing was keeping a low center of gravity. I know a guy that runs 12" of lift with the same tires I have and it is completely unecessary, plus, I'm kinda short

fenders are already trimmed
